I’ve been loving the drugstore recently! Rite Aid is having an awesome sale this week on both NYC and Revlon plus I picked up a few things from CVS. Most of it is nail polish but that is certainly not unusual or shocking.
For all the details on what I bought check below the jump!
So I am officially addicted to Revlon ColorStay foundation! I picked up my first bottle back in April and this is my 4th bottle. It holds up really well in the terrible Charlotte humidity plus depending on the way you apply it the coverage can range from light to full.
Despite my love for Revlon ColorStay I did want a foundation for just around the house or running up to the grocery store. Something a little less serious, basically. I figured I’d give NYC Smooth Skin Liquid Makeup a go. I’ve never tried any NYC foundations before but they are super cheap and the packaging isn’t bad. If I hate it that’s ok!
I did hit pan on my Wet n Wild Walking on Eggshells which is my go to eyeshadow trio when I really just don’t want to put much effort into my eye look. I highly recommend this palette. I rarely repurchase anything eye shadow related!
And finally, the best part (at least in my opinion…)…recent nail polish purchases! I’m really excited about some of these. I finally picked up wet n wild Red Red which is supposed to be the perfect neutral red creme. I love a good red nail so I’m looking forward to giving that a try.
At Rite Aid I spotted the NYC Color Rush display. I just couldn’t resist Mint Breeze and Traffic Jam Orange! I also picked up Nicole by OPI Follow Me on Glitter at Rite Aid (I actually got 2 bottles…we’ll be giving one away soon!).
Finally the polish I’m most excited about! Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Loves Me Not! Ever since I saw the promo picture for the Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 collection I’ve wanted Loves Me Not. Sadly, I just hadn’t seen the display anywhere. So I’m happy to have finally acquired it!
As always, reviews for all the nail polishes will be posted over on The Daily Varnish in the near future!
